We would like to thank all participants of the Carbon-smart Urban Green Festival in August! The scientific seminar on Friday was a big success, and on Saturday, research-based knowledge was shared, for example, through science walks and workshops. The slides of the presentations are now available in pdf format on the festival website: https://cocarbonprd.wpengine.com/etusivu/co-carbon-festivaali-2023/. Blog posts and possibly short videos or podcasts based on the themes presented at the festival will also be added to our website during the autumn.
The second three-year cycle of the CO-CARBON research project is about to start. In the coming years, we will focus thematically on the co-benefits of carbon sequestration and the multiple benefits of urban nature, and on the dissemination of results, for example by introducing carbon smartness into education and planning tools together with our partners. We will also continue to produce research-based knowledge.
