Professor Leena Järvi from CO-CARBON will participate to a roundtable in one of the largest global congresses on sustainability to bring forth the multibeneficial role of urban green in tackling climate change.
In an era where our world is at the crossroads of unprecedented change, this interactive roundtable discussion event, “Sustainable Built Environment at the Frontlines of Change”, invites global and multidisciplinary discussions on the challenges and opportunities shaping the built environment.
At the event, a comprehensive overview of these changes in the field is presented, based on an extensive literature review and the insights from over 160 Finnish experts. After providing this overview, the most prominent topics will be delved into with relevant researchers.
Roundtable is organized by Building Information Foundation that is an impartial and independent influencer for the public interest in the Finnish real estate and construction industry. Roundtable is held as part of Sustainability Research and Innovation (SRI) Congress 2024 in Helsinki. SRI Congress is the world’s largest inclusive global event for co-produced research and innovation action to advance sustainability. More than 2000 international sustainability experts and practitioners are expected to come together in Finland and online from around the world.
