CO-CARBON Final seminar, May 20 – registration now open!

Our six-year long CO-CARBON project will come to an end at the end of this year. The project’s final seminar, Where is urban green in climate action?, will be held on Wednesday, May 20, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Think Corner, University of Helsinki. The seminar will present the results of the CO-CARBON research project, publish Carbon-Smart Urban Green Handbook, and discuss the role of urban green as part of cities’ climate work. The keynote speaker will be Professor Michael Christie from Aberystwyth University, UK. The seminar is aimed at researchers, urban planners and green sector professionals, and anyone interested in the development and decision-making of climate-smart cities.

The seminar is part of the CO-CARBON Festival 2026, which begins in May and includes an exhibition at Think Corner and public libraries, as well as geocaching. Read more on the festival website and register for the seminar by May 10!
