On March 30th, the audience gathered in person (!) and online to discuss climate-smartness in urban green. Urbaria Academics is a seminar series organized by the Helsinki Institute of Urban and Regional Studies (Urbaria) encouraging interdisciplinary discussion especially among University of Helsinki researchers. The March seminar day highlighted CO-CARBON research. The program consisted of Docent Liisa Kulmala’s talk titled Biogenic carbon cycle in urban environments and Professor Christopher Raymond’s talk titled Exploring the social acceptability of ‘carbon-smart urban green infrastructure’, followed by questions and discussion.
